McCain Sucks, Palin Sucks = No Bush left behind

McCain-Palin: Revolving Door of Promises

Posted on: September 5, 2008

It was a fun week revealing what was in Palin’s closet but now it’s time to move on to the real issues. The sad thing about all this is that the Republicans didn’t do their vetting homework and found out what was in her closet the same time the blogosphere did.

What if the Republican administration did as little vetting when trying to find weapons of mass destruction or looking for military intelligence? Imagine that.

In McCain’s speech last night, he talked about keeping jobs in the United States. Employees want that but it’s the big business (the friends of McCain) who are sending jobs oversees to pay less living wages, no healthcare, and pocket more profits.

McCain said that for the people who were unemployed, they would continue to be paid at a decent wage, and would be retrained for a better job. That sounds like a utopic plan but in his next breath — he talked about cutting taxes and not spending money. Unemployment benefits and training all cost lots of money because the U.S. has lots of unemployment from jobs being sent overseas.

McCain’s speech just took me through a revolving door.

The United States has been been losing jobs and in August,  84,000 jobs were shed. Ouch. August was the eighth straight month of job losses. The unemployment rate jumped to 6.1 percent in August, the highest in nearly five years. Both figures were worse than economists had forecast.

The most fascinating aspect of McCain’s Republican acceptance speech was that he and Palin are going to change Washington.

Not that it’s a bad idea to change Washington because that is what Obama has been saying throughout his whole campaign but McCain has been in Washington and 95% of the time votes like Bush. So why all of sudden did McCain wake up from his Ambien-induced sleeping pill fog and decide to change Washington?

Why? Because he realizes that is what the American people want to hear and he will say anything and everything to be likeable.

Here’s a ridde: How can you tell when a Republican lies?

(See answer below)

Answer: His or her lips move
